WSV3 is the flashiest, most advanced, high performance, and high-quality weather forecasting graphics software available on the market (Figs. 1A-1D). It is the ultimate Swiss army knife of live weather tracking and weather monitoring information. WSV3 presents an enormous amount of real-time meteorological data, which enables users to track a variety of meteorological phenomena including snowstorms, severe weather outbreaks, hurricanes, tornadoes, and wildfires.

Due to its exceptional customizable capabilities, users can tailor WSV3 to fit their specific needs and preferences. For example, users can control whether to overlay multiple datasets such as radar reflectivity, Geostationary Lightning Mapper (GLM) lightning strike data, and National Weather Service (NWS) watches and warnings, to see where the strongest storms are located and what direction they are moving. Users also can have the ability to zoom in and out, tilt, and swivel the display.

WSV3 is suitable for a range of fields with varying levels of meteorological expertise due to its simplistic user-friendly interface. It provides truly-live weather data disseminated from all government resources (NWS, Storm Prediction Center (SPC), etc.) to effectively serve the most time-sensitive and demanding applications. WSV3 has proven to be an indispensable tool in a wide variety of disciplines such as TV broadcasting, emergency management, storm chasing, and utility management, by giving users the opportunity to keep precise tabs on the weather while confidently managing critical decision making.
